The Bear Naturals - Meet The Bears, Our Story.

 Hello & Welcome to our story! I am the mother bear from our logo, known by many as Luna, the owner & creator of Bear Naturals Candles & More, and the creator of all the wonderful products you see call our website home and the seer who envisioned this dream coming true. 

Bear (aka Kiddo), my son, is the bear cub beside me. He is the Bear in " Bear Naturals Candles & More" and the biggest inspiration for the business's creation. He is my miracle child, & my entire heart. 

For the majority of his early childhood, I was ill with chronic autoimmune illnesses on my journey to finding what would help me over come my symptoms to live a happy life as a happy mother, giving all I could to my son ensuring he has the best life he deserves. I wanted to embrace every opportunity I could to be home with and for him as I feel any mother would with her child. For me, this wasn't just my eternal love for my child inspiring these feelings, it was knowing every day to come would make up for everyday of lost time when I was fighting to stay strong. 

With the love and support of our family and friends alongside my will to never give up, we always stayed safe, happy and healthy (well with my few health exceptions.) growing our bond and who we are together. To have grown up with my son & watch him become who he is, finding his passions and growing connections of his own has been almost as big of a blessing as having him is. 

Having him grow up watching me continue to do all I could as his mom in both sickness and health was only the beginning of this adventure, we now call our business. After many visits to the doctor, ER, over a dozen surgeries, many different medication options I couldn't take it anymore. I wasn't getting better as I had hoped, and the doctors were running out of options. However, I had many.

Many natural, ordinary options that were calling to be explored. Growing up a lover of nature and the outdoors, I had spent years curious about natural remedies, learning little at a time, growing fonder of making the biggest switch of my life. I trusted my intuition and what I wanted knowing I was making the right choice and began my research. One thing led to another and before I knew it, I was completely off of every medication, embracing yoga, healthy habit shifts, herbs, flowers, roots, whole, natural, organic foods, plant-based ingredients, etc. and falling in love with nature in ways I only dreamed of at the same time I was falling in love with myself, finally feeling like me again. I've always loved and admired nature and natural ways, and products, this is where the deep love and appreciation for them all, and our business, began.

 Bear Naturals Candles & More was created out of love for all natural products and a dream to embrace my abilities and passion to have my own business while enjoying being home with my son. Research began in February of 2019, product creation in October 2019, local test/customer build sales in January 2020, our businesses was legally established June 2021 & our website launched with our final product post testing and trial phases on October 18th, 2021. As a scent/aromatherapy lover I would spend countless amounts on manufactured candles, wax melts, sprays and more; hoping each one I bought wouldn't give me headaches, irritate my allergies, and be so overpowering in scent. Hoping for a natural, high-quality product for an affordable price started to feel like a dream. A dream that as I stood in a store smelling more wax melts in sadness, I realized I could easily make a reality. I started my research and was mortified. The amount of harmful chemicals I was not only breathing in and applying to my skin, but so was my family was shocking to say the least. The side effects of these chemicals were even more shocking. It immediately answered so many questions and raised many more with the first being " What is the first step I need to do to start making this dream come true?"; And I got to work! After two years of countless hours of research, testing and hard work; living my dream came true. Running a business with a full candle, wax melt and room spray line providing my family & all other families with a safe, natural, eco-friendly, vegan, cruelty free & affordable scent options to love without worry. It doesn't stop there. With all the research I had done, I knew immediately these products would only be the beginning. The "& More" will cover many future products in the works along with other hand-crafted items I get requests to purchase.

As the dream grew on, my ability to share my magic with the world was born in a completely different way. It was this magic that brought me my son, and the strength to embrace my love for nature that changed my life forever. To have the opportunity to see into others' lives and provide guidance through my spiritual gifts and beliefs has been one of the biggest blessings this business has given. I began this part of the journey with our business in June of 2022, and as I write this in June of 2024, I have helped over 500+ people to find clarity and comfort with different parts of their life's journey. There will never be enough words to express how blessed I feel to have the honor of meeting everyone & being a part of their journey in such a magical way.

This business is more than just a way to create a more natural way to enjoy luxurious scents, and products you can be confident in. It's a way for a mom and her son to grow a legacy & spend as much time together as the days allow. It's creating a way for a mom to ensure comfort in the homes of others with the blessing of being home to ensure it for her own.
